Anthrax Updates: Anthrax . . . From A to Z

With the current outbreak of Anthrax at top of mind for many, the Farm Animal Council of Saskatchewan Inc. will serve as the central location for Anthrax updates. Working closely with the Western College of Veterinary Medicine (WCVM) and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) you can visit our site for the most up-to-date information.

"Over the years, the WCVM  has worked closely with FACS in ensuring accurate information relevant to animal care and herd health issues is available to the media, industry and consumers. The WCVM sees great value in expanding our efforts by using the FACS website  as the one central location where up-to-date information on Anthrax can be provided. This collective effort between the WCVM, FACS and CFIA will serve our industry well," Dr. Chris Clark of the WCVM.

FACS is pleased to host this information. During this challenging time, FACS  will continue striving to serve the livestock industry and ensuring updates are always available.

For more information on Anthrax, please contact Dr. Chris Clark at the WCVM 1.306.966.7165 or Dr. Sandra Stephens at the Canadian Food Inspection Agency at 1.306.975.5196.
